Their answers may surprise you. Grade 6 kids were asked to build what they would like to see in their community. Their answers varied of course, and some may have an impact on you.
These kids built everything from a zoo, a beach, recreational vehicles and properties - to a bomb shelter for safety, a jail for the bad people, affordable housing that is actually nice (because what is cheap isn't nice to live in, what is nice isn't cheap).
Kids know.
By working with kids from a young age, we hope they continue to work towards a better future.
