STUDENT LEADERSHIP BURSARY AWARDS

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

The Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) identified youth education and employment as one of their main service priorities. One challenge facing our youth today is their lack of marketable skills for sustainable employment. Recognizing this challenge, the CPLC has established  Student Leadership Bursary Awards to assist post-secondary students achieve marketable skills through further education and apprenticeship programs. This one-time $1,000.00 bursary is awarded to one student from each of the eight secondary schools in 31 Division.
